Different point of view of this famous and beautiful castle. I´ve wanted to give a more dream feeling using a filter.

I hope your critiques about it.

Also, I add some words about the history of the castle:

Eilean Donan Castle sits at the point where three Scottish Lochs Meet, Scotland's Most Romantic Castle. In a superbly beautiful and romantic setting, Eilean Donan Castle possesses a dream like quality.

The most photographed castle in the world? Certainly Eilean Donan is Scotland's most romantic and recognizable. Although the island of Eilean Donan has been a fortified site for at least eight hundred years, the present building dates largely from the early 20th century. Today's castle, which rose from the ruins of it's predecessor, was rebuilt between 1912 and 1932 by Lieutenant Colonel John MacRae-Gilstrap.

Eilean Donan is quite unique, the product of an incredible feat of determination and devotion to restore the Castle for the MacRae family.

Good basic composition but for me the sky is too unnatural while making the building appear darker. Is this a digital filter? Thanks.

Nice atmosphere you are creating here. But how did you get it? What kind of filter did you put on which camera and what were your settings??

Hola Cristina,
you made a wonderful capture here. The POV is just the right thing for this composition with the bridge leading to the castle. The colours are very natural and the light (the sky) is great. The DOF and contrasts raise everything to importance till the background which is a bit softer.

Hi Cristina. I like the effect of the filter, it gives some kind of drama and scarry kind of feeling of the castle, and it goes well with the seaweed. I would have liked the motive without the tourists, but I know that could probably have given you a few hours on the spot :-) Greetings Jens
