Photographer's Note

In July if the night comes at 11.00 pm, it is already clear enough at 3.00 am, and I didn't really force myself out on the beach for this one, because this is the view I had from my guesthouse window. An incredible sight indeed, a lot of reflections and golden hues mixing with a gray blue: I am so happy that I managed to wake up, grab my camera and tripod, and take pictures as if the greatest scenery of the world was folding out. On that day, I was not as a lucky as on the first on in the Highlands, later on it happened to be a very dull day with a 99 % cloudy sky.
Plockton is charming little fishing village near Kyle of Lochalsh with simple but gracious guesthouses, and my decision to visit it after 20 years proved quite a good one.
