When I arrived at Plockton and started to look for the guesthouse where I was supposed to spend the night the first thing our hostess asked me was " Did you see the boats ? " What boats ? I ignored that there was a competition on that day. I thought that I had missed an occasion but after a while they all returned home.
So here is another picture taken at Plockton Bay, at around 8.00 pm.

Hello Izzet,

This is an amazing shot with the kind of light I cant imagine at 2000 hrs..!!the cloud formation is very very good and the line of boats are looking beautiful amidst the water..the red one on the right is giving a different perspective ..

Yes indeed, we can not miss the boats as they what make this picture wonderful. It must be a pleasure to have a competition in such place. Everyone go on their race business but enjoying the scenery at the same time. That red one really is the eye catch here. Well done.

This is a most beautiful picture! The landscape, the light, the sea with the boats and this so lively sky - all together a symphony which couldn't be more beautiful. You managed the difficult light very well! I like this one very much!

Just I came back from the Blacksea parts and I saw your this last wonderful picture. Amazing skyscape and the boats in the front are really a eyecatching contrast against the huge hills and mountains in background for our eyes. It's superb as usual your works. Best regards. ihsan

A lovely light in this photo, Izzet, seems like your UK travels were blessed with rather photogenic weather conditions. The scenery would be pretty by and in itself, but the boats certainly work well to deliver a colorful and graphical interest on top of that.

Les bateaux semblent bien petits à côté de ces montagnes. Il émane de cette photographie une sensation de bien-être, une sorte de sérénité liée à la beauté des lieux.

A beautiful view over this Scottish loch with the many boats creating a nice effect. The rocky hills and mountains are also beautiful and the white and grey clouds enhance a lot too. Great work, thanks for sharing!

Olá Izzet, the almost perfect line of the boats is a superb bonus on this wonderful landscape. The painting on the sky adds a nice touch of dramatism, as well as the reflections on the calm waters. The result is quite attractive. The 'returning home' was problably even better than the competition itself...Great shot.
