Shetland Islands, Scotland, United Kingdom

Shetland, also called the Shetland Islands and formerly Zetland, is a subarctic archipelago in the Northern Isles of Scotland.

A nice tidy town with lots of stone brick homes and structures. This land they say is where Scotland meets Scandinavia and the North Sea meets the Atlantic.

The Shetlands are group of about 100 islands, fewer than 20 of them inhabited, 130 miles (210 km) north of the Scottish mainland.

Thanks for viewing – enjoy Friday, drt100 David
