Photographer's Note

There are dozens of fine beaches on Lewis and throughout the Hebrides where a photographer can spend an entire day looking for different colours, textures and viewpoints. Here is just one of the endless photographic opportunities to be found on the beach at Traigh Ghearadha. With the ocean so close to hand there are always good cloud formations to add drama and here a storm over The Minch contrasts with the sunlit beach.

This a part of a series exploring The Outer Hebrides off the North West coast of Scotland. Some photographs of lesser quality may be included for sake of the travelogue - forgive me! Prints are available of selected photographs from my website. Please see my profile for details.
