Photographer's Note

Back to Bodnant Garden,a National trust property near Tal-y-Cafn, Conwy, Wales. Overlooking the Conwy Valley towards the Carneddau mountains.
Founded in 1874, it was developed by five generations of one family, and gifted to the National Trust in 1949.

The garden spans 80 acres of hillside and includes Italianate terraces, informal shrub borders stocked with plants from around the world. And there is so much more!
This is one end of a lake which ends in a small weir, hence the need for the bridge.
I find the curvy lines of the trunks of the shrubs very attractive. Two more shots in the workshop.

Thanks for looking.
