Salisbury est l'une des cathédrales médiévales les plus fines en Grande-Bretagne. C'est l'église de mère du diocèse de Salisbury, un secteur qui couvre la plupart des comtés du WILTSHIRE et du Dorset. Commencée en 1220 , terminée en 1258, avec la Flèche, la plus grande en Angleterre (123m/404ft)et ajoutée une génération plus tard. Construite pour refléter la gloire de Dieu, en pierre et verre, c'est un endroit de grandes festivités avec des cortèges colorés énormes, une église majestueuse et inmpressionnante.

A very dynamic vertical composition Jean Michel! I think the choice of B&W here is a good one as it reminds old photos helping the spactator to have the feeling of travelling in time! Well done indeed!

A classic shot and very suitable medium for this motif,well in B&W,and with a white sky and great contrast you crreat an artistic shot with a smell of old style which I like it very much,great note and fine at all,nicely composed and thanks for sharing,Jean Michel.

Bonsoir Jean-Michel, c'esr un batiment avec une tres belle architecture, le bas est un petit peu sombre par contre la fleche se detache tres bien par contraste sur le ciel clair, c'est bien vu !

I like normally not of black and white photograph, but this church of most beautiful from this region, excellent architecture picture, good note too.

Salut Jean-Michel,
it appears you are as active as myself on TE at the moment? I know this place very well and spent many happy hours playing around the river bank when I was a young boy. This is a fine shot, B&W suits it and makes it look like a postcard from the turn of the 20th century. I hope you're keeping well my friend?
