All saints with St Mary's church at Chitterne, Wiltshire.
Whilst doing some research on my family history, I found that my family moved from the village of Chitterne to West Meon in Hampshire,(circa 1890).

My grandmother was the second youngest of eighteen children. I paid a little pilgrimage to the village last week and took some photos to show my mother where we came from.
I was pleased to say that the place was delightful.

Good Lighting and shadows, as well as perspective. I would have tried to have the church door either closed or open. The half opening distracts the eye. A typical scene. I come from Canada each year to walk your unique long distance footpaths and love to photograph the various village churches one passes through. As many as there are, no two churches are the same. Thank you.
