Photographer's Note

Late afternoon and the trilogy is nearly complete. Sea, sunset - just need the surf. That does not stop the die-hards from doing their best on the waves there were, and from the dry and warmth of the land, looked to be having lots of fun with it. This looks west along the coast from Sidmouth, along the Jurassic Coast, a similar view that two dogs had in a previous post, and the exact opposite from yet another post . Good spot this Sidmouth place !

Hello Martin.
A very atmospheric shot, with beautifully mellow colour tones that capture the evening light so well. I love the gleams of light on the waves. The surfers look so small in this picture of natural forces. A nicely composed/cropped picture.

Hi Martin,

Great point of view here enabling you to acheive lots of depth and interest throughout the image. I like the warm, hazy quality of the picture. The cloud detail at the very top of the frame is a great addition to the composition and you have captured the surfers very well too. Great scene. Thanks for sharing,
