Bonjour Pierre,

Le garde est très sérieux mais le cheval semble avoir un petit sourire, peut-être parce qu'il peut se soulager à volonté. L'ensenble est bien placé dans l'image et la luminosité apporte de bons détails.

Bonjour Pierre,
Le cheval est stoïque, et doit commencer à avoir des fourmis dans les sabots. Le point de vue et le cadrage sont biens choisis. La lumière, les couleurs et la netteté sont très bonnes. Bravo.

I think this horse and rider stood there since last time when i was there, back in 8/1993...
Classical POV, Pierre, a bit black on dark(horse on the hallway).

Bonjour Pierre,

A good upward pov on the mounted English horseman with excellent color & sharpness. I would burn in the oe sky top right. The pastel colours work well here. Excellent shadow detail & well exposed blacks, eg the flanks of the horse. Tfs!

Le cadrage est parfait, je connais ce lieu; mais il y a un gros écart de luminosité par rapport à la droite. La scène était difficile à photographier; l'essentiel est correct pour le cavalier.

Hi Pierre, A very British scene. The calm horse and well dressed guard look a treat. Nicely angled to get the impressive gates to balance the scene. TFS. Murray
PS Have you tried putting a thin border around especially as it will contain the light areas.

I am always amazed at how well trained the century guards are & they never seem to smile - they are so meticulous with their attire & the horses unbelievably well-groomed.
I like this photo & what is nice the couple strolling by.
