Photographer's Note

This year we have an extraordinarily pleasant summer in England. To this extent that wherever I go the grass is so dried out that it is yellow-brown rather than green. Temperatures are occasionally higher than in Mediterranean, so I have spent few weekend days on the beach already. This is a picture taken last weekend in the South Tyneside near the Marsden Rock. I may show you the Marsden Rock later. This rock here to my knowledge does not have a name. It reminds me the rock formations which you can see in Cappadocia in the Love Valley. You can speculate where the name of the valley comes from. But even more this place resembles some of the beaches of Algarve surrounded by the orange cliffs. And on that day the weather was quite similar too.
I have showed you this rock already from a distance in that photo. Here a close up view taken last Sunday. I suppose it is one of the secret spots, hidden gems unknown to outsiders.
