This was one of the most interesting local trips I had last summer. I just love visiting places which are beautiful and yet not many people have heard about them, and the satisfaction is even bigger if the locals haven’t heard about it at all. This was the case for the Belvoir Castle in the Leicestershire, county which is not so popular on TrekEarth. I think the castle is photogenic, but one has to find a right angle. I have showed you a picture of it before and I wanted to share more but showing the castle from different side for a change. Sadly, all my favourite photos were from the same angle. Here the perspective has distorted the castle a bit. This angle would be great taken from a further distance, but I didn’t have a chance to explore the area long enough. I decided to show this view anyway because it shows that the castle is actually quite big, bigger than it may have appeared from my first photo HERE.
