eacause i didn have a wide angle lens with me nor the space around the moat allowed for - i decided to capture only the beautiful geometry of this old castle on two of its sides with a great reflection in the still waters.

Great architectural shot, the reflection makes for a great composition. I also like the tight crop that enhances the graphic effect created by vertical and horizontal symmetry.

I found your image simple but facinating. The POV would give an adventure book it's wonderful cover. Nice sharp image of the fortress.
