The London Eye was a temporary structure built for millenium celebrations. Still stands today, and is hugely popular. Each gondola on this giant ferris wheel holds 25 people. This kind of hides its size a bit. Views on days like this are superb, EXCEPT for the river Thames. You can see it no problem, but just look at the colour!
Recommend this place for great voew of London, but watch out, it may close soon if landlords insist on charging 5mio USD for just one leg of this structure. |

Hi Christopher
An original POV and a nice picture to see in the big format. Detailed and interesting shot. Well done, regards Albrecht

This angle made me feel like I was falling into the river.. into that brown water surface. Lucky to have boats below, also the shade of gondola.
London gondola is falling down
falling down, falling down
London gondola is falling down
my fair lady....
actually, this is one of the better views of the london eye...its quite trippy actually. To be honest, I never take pictures of famous monuments, so I like your take on this. I know what Lauryn means...it gives you a sense of falling..

regards,
alejandro
