Or a golden cage maybe.
In fact this is backside of the Buckingham Palace, the official residence of the Queen.
Palace Gardens are behind the fence.
Contrast to parade side is striking. |

great picture Kari, so well composed with perfect perspective and optimal POV, nice sepia tone too, compliments!!
have a nice day,
Fabio.
This is very strinking to see that the Royals are like in some kind of a prison.
This is so symbolic.
Fantastic choice of B&W.
Take care, Aleks
A interesting look at Buckingham Palace! Ouch! I like with you've done with the light sepia.
Quite a contrast indeed. The message those massive spikes give is quite a strong one.
Very interesting photo and comment. I like the black and white effect, and also the title, which leads to a surprise, as one wouldn't imagine Buckingham Palace behind those barbed wires.
Very original point of view.
Marie Louise.

Hi Kari,
As most people, I was only on the other side and therefore I missed this Londoner Berlin Wall.
Yes, a golden cage. It recalls me rich people's homes in poor countries, or countries with many poor people (like Brazil big cities).
Regards,
F
