Roseberry Topping - Winter
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
My first post in a while, hopfully I'll manage a few before my next barren spell. I have been taking photos on my travels, it just seems that it takes me AGEs to get around to sorting through them, and tweakingthe ones I like and getting them posted.
Anyway this is roseberry topping and a VERY similar photograph to another I have posted jmdaoudal trouve(nt) cette note utile Only registered TrekEarth members may rate photo notes. |

I spotted you by chance in the gallery!! You have been away a long time...BUSY?? Welcome back.
I remember your others from here; I see you have been walking in the snow. Well composed shot from an excellent POV
I might be the first.

Hi Mark, nice to see a post from you after a LONG break. Good POV on this shot and an excellent wintry scene.
Looking forward to more from you.
Very beautiful winter in Yorkshire and also a real pleasure to see you back.

i know you probably got down low i nthe snow for this shot to try to change the composition, but i think that if you were the same as your previous shot from this angle it would be much more attractive, there also just seems something missing, i know about your problems with the sharpness, but the colours were much better in the summer, just needs some greens in there, higher POV would be better,
good bye

Hi Mark, nice low shot making the summer house the focal point. I like low ones like this, gives a photo a different edge. Nice colours too, well done.
Hi Mark......I love the way the tree (which is across the gully from the folly) looks like a miniature next to the folly due to the snow obscuring the gully.....wether by chance or not,it certainly lends something to the picture.
