Photographer's Note

Dunraven Bay on the Bristol Channel Coast of South Wales has the second highest tidal range in the world. On a spring tide the difference between low and high water is as much as 10 meters. Such is the strength of the tide that no two tides ever give the same result. Some days the rocks and their pools are displayed on others the sand is as smooth as silk. I've tried to show every structure and every pattern visible in this shot.
