Very nice example of architecture - I would say English indeed - but I can't tell if it’s Plymouth. I like the dark sky and the houses in sun - good work.

English style house I suppose. I went to London last September and I think I recognize the style but may be I am wrong. Anyway, I love the picture, the red house just give whats it's needed for that picture to be special.

Beautiful composition, John. Wonderful architecture. I especially like the deep red colours of the house at the end. Well framed.

A very fine light setting still with some fine bright light on the buildings. Very typical for this place I think. Good shot John

Mooie architecture John, mooie oude sierlijke gebouwen in Plymouth, uit een prachtige hoek genomen, goed gedaan.

Typisch Zuid-Engeland John. Mooie foto, met prachtige kleuren. Het rood van het huis op de voorgrond maakt de foto. Well seen!

j'avis pas vu cette photo hier !
très bonne photo avec ces constrastes entre le blanc des batiment et ce ciel très chargé.
Quand je regarde ces batiment il me font penser à de gros paquebot !

Very nice angle of taking and fine contrasting colours! It seems so typically English indeed..:-) ..and so neat and lovely. Simple, yet elegant composition!

It is indeed Plymouth. The front of these buildings look out over the Plymouth Sound. Interesting to see the Grand there pre-fire. The top two or three stories were completely destroyed a few years ago. A lovely photo of my backyard. Makes me feel that there are indeed places to photograph around here that i'm not making the most of.
