Photographer’s Note
It was raining almost all the time in London, during my last visit, so I had to find out different subjects to shoot, where the blank sky wouldn’t be visible (you can still see it reflecting in the wheel caps). The area around Buckingham Palace provided me such an opportunity when I saw multiple colours in the trees of St James’s Park.
It is the oldest Royal Park in London and is surrounded by three palaces. The most ancient is Westminster, which has now become the Houses of Parliament, St James's Palace and of course, the best known, Buckingham Palace.
Often used for ceremonial and state occasions, the Park is a fantastic setting for pomp and splendour.

This is really a great shot Andre. The blending of the red to orange to green is really spectacular. And the car is still so sharp and in focus. Great job at panning.

Amicalement,

Hi Andre, the last time I heard your name was when someone pointed to me the similarity between your 'sand man' shot and an image posted by me. But today, this capture of the Cooper forced me to write to you. You've caught the action and the feeling of motion very nicely friend with some good lights and colours. Overall you have a great pov and created a good composition. regards...aadil

Great panning job. It's not quite super-sharp but certainly worthy of posting. The background blur forms an interesting pattern.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Andre,
The movement here that you have captured is great. The blurred colour of the trees gives a wonderful effect. This shot for me looks like something out of Tin-Tin.

Salut Cousin,
Bonne journee,
Jean-Yves

My friend, I have a shot in my mind I want to do and it's very similar to this one of you, but with a whole entire yellow Lisbon bus. Yours is so good. I never tried a panning shot but I sense it's not an easy task to accomplish. That background is really something! Great shot!

Hi Andre.
A nice panning with lovely colours. Anyway, maybe a B&W version to empathize a little more the "old times"?

Marc

Hello André,
I see that you have become an expert in the art of panning, and 1/8 speed has just proven excellent for the passing taxi.
Simple and effective. Very sharp lines too.
Have you returned from the Far East ?

Hi
The picture is so English...
One of the best shots like this I have ever seen. I felt this car wanted to drive out from monitor. The colours captured in background are incredible. Take care
