Une vue sur le Trafalgar Square et des pigeons, une place très populaire de Londres qui a été construite entre 1829 et 1841. La Gallerie nationale est au nord de la place.

A view of Trafalgar Square and of the pidgeons, it is a very popular square of London which was built between 1829 and 1841. The National Gallery is boarding the north side of the square.

Salut Pierre, after the Mars Invasion we have Pigeon Invasion. The huge amount of them creates here a superb effect. Even for a photo made in the 80's it has got a remarkable quality. Here in Portugal and in order to control of the population, there are special teams that their job is to poison the pigeons.

Where are our doves, perhaps on this Trafalgar Square between the thousand other.

This is what I remember about Trafalgar Square, so many pidgeons that you can hardly see the ground! The people walking through seem almost to be wading though the pidgeons they are so deep - wonderful shot capturing the essence of the place!

Elles sont envahissantes ces petites bêtes là !!! J'ai quelques souvenirs de cette place, notamment sur mon manteau. Joli panorama ici qui montre bien l'ampleur du phénomène. Bien vu Pierre.

Hi Pierre. This is a fine composition of one of London's most famous locations. The number of doves or pidgeons is incredible. Looks a fairly grey and cool Londay day, similar to when i visited a few years ago. But a wonderful place to ss. TFS. Murray.

I wonder if anyone ever counted the pidgeons..? An incredible amount is captured, that contributes strongly to the colours tone of the image...
Well composed and the busses make a nice colour contrast!

Although light wasn't great, you have yet been able to pull it off thanks to the congregagtion of the pigeons. The famous landmark and the red buses showing us this can't be anywhere but Trafalgar Square.

Quelle foule ... de pigeons ! Bonne composition avec le monument en arrière plan mais aussi ce large premie plan qui donne de la vie entre oiseaux et passants.
