Took this shot at egton graveyard in north yorks first attempt with hdr so please be forgiving ,had real problems with high winds (tripod had a slight vibration} so this has a lot of movment with the trees and bushes ,cropped some of the trees but hey its just an experiment.

Hey Dave,
This picture is mostly underexposed (but that adds to the mood) and top right portion of the sky is completely overexposed. I haven't done much with HDR but this isnt a bad shot. It can be tough on a windy day to take multiple shots and have them overlap properly when merging in HDR - you did pretty well.

Actually, I think this is rather good. What technique/programmes did you use for HDR? Your picture has certainly captured the mood of the place.

Hi Dave,
I'm no expert in HDR and only posted one thus far myself. I think the conditions added to the character of the place. I think the colors are very good, and the sky with he adrker and light patches add mood to the image. Rodney

Nice composition, i had the same problems in my first attempt. A remote shutter control is also helping in this technique. Best wishes.

Great ambience and atmosphere captured here.
Sometimes HDR images can be totally over the top, but here it is subtle and used to good effect.
