Photographer’s Note

5 trees on the bank of the River Stour near Dedham, Essex.

This was taken about half an hour before sunrise, I was actually on my way to further up the river but was struck by how stark they looked without their leaves.

Hello Benjamin! Half an hour before sunsrise, well seeing that this was still February it was probably not 5 in the morning :) Everything double, even the clouds make their work on the water. You have found a lovely little group for your shot, twisted and bended, as in real life when you grow older. Very nice work, and I really love your morning colors, still soft but already awake. The reflection and the clouds echo the lines created by the trees themselves. Well seen. Glad you stopped for this one. This could go on the wall in a frame.
