Trafalgar Square Fountain
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
While working in London in the spring of 1990, I had time to wander around town, camera in hand. This shot of a fountain in Trafalgar Square caught the late sunlight and made a nice image.
Technical: Scanned from slide by ScanCafe, slight use of Curves. |

I like the effect of the back light on the water; it positively glows in parts. The fast exposure is good to show the spray, frozen in time and the silhouettes ensure our attention is all on the water. Well done

Hi Dan!
Beautiful "detail" here, great composition and excellent "tight" framing, great capture of the flow of water and great light managment! Beautiful "split" of the background to dark and bright areas. Congratulations!
