[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
plenty of rocks to photograph at Port Nanven in Cornwall, you just have to decide whether you want to photograph them when the tide is out or in. This time i decided to take some shots as the tide was coming in, hope you like...

Hello Derek,
You have caught the texure of these smooth, golden rocks very well. I think I would prefer the smaller rock in the distance not to be visible - when I try covering it, the main rock formation has even more impact.
Nice contrast of hard and soft surfaces.
Best wishes...Maggie

Olá Derek, splendid detail. Great textures and colors on this hypopotumus skin. I like the result of the big coin being washed up. The water seems a bit overexposed on the right side, but that's almost impossible to control and it's not too bad. May be I would crop a bit...
regards,
ricardo

le mouvement se voit et l'usure des cailloux est d'une belle douceur; très agréable cliché!

It's a good idea to zoom in on details and your choice of high tide works well, together with your slow shutter speed, which smooths out the water. The texture of the rocks and the wonderful colours both of rocks and water are well shown.

Hello Daniel.
very nice close up shot of these rocks at Port Nanven.I like the sharpness, the details and the clarity of the rocks as the use of 1/2 sec that make the sea waters to pose.Good the management of the light and the colors too.

Have a nice weekend,Danos

Derek,
A lovely, curvaceous form. I like it, although it's hard to divorce my mind from slipping around all over this wet grantite in negotiating routes to the start of cliff climbs at Chair Ladder and the like. Vicious on the hands, despite its apparently smooth looks.
Regards
Colin

Re bonsoir Derek
j'aime beaucoup la luminosité ici et la longue pose qui permet de figer l'eau. Belle photo, bien composée.

Hi Derek,

you cropped a wonderful detail, rock shape and colors is very fascinating. I like the effect of the blurry water.
