Quite a surreal image, with the huge cello and only the one leg visible. I like it.
A bit of a shame about the overexposure - you could have done with setting a stop of exposure compensation (I find that -0.7 EV works best as a general default setting with the D40, simply because the camera is calibrated to give bright print-ready images). I also think that a shift to the framing would have made for a better shot, placing the girl less centrally so that you could have included the couple in Islamic dress over there by the railings.
