Glen Nevis River
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Glen Nevis (Gaelic: Gleann Nibheis) is a beautiful and popular glen in Lochaber, Highland, Scotland, with Fort William at its foot. It is bordered to the south by the Mamore range, and to the north by the highest mountains in the British Isles: Ben Nevis, Càrn Mor Dearg, Aonach Mòr, and Aonach Beag. It is home to one of the three highest waterfalls in Scotland, Steall Falls, where the Allt Coire a'Mhail joins the Water of Nevis in the glen. Below the waterfall is a steeply walled and impressive gorge.
Several films have been shot in Glen Nevis, including some scenes from the Harry Potter movies, Braveheart and Rob Roy. |

Hi Peter,
well thought out and captured image.
The long foreground across the river stones looks wonderful.
Good sky, your light management is perfect.
Regards
Peter

Hi Peter,
the picture you represent is very well captured! I mean that you handled the light perfectly maintaining the most of details not only in the foreground but in the depth, too. The colours are beautiful and the light definitely polarized! The point of view is also very well chosen!
Thank you for sharing.
Greetigs from Greece,
