Another view of work on the deck of Sorlandet, during the cruise from Brest to Krisitansand in August 1992. I believe people here are bracing the yards (ie turning the yards, with the use of the braces), because there are three teams of people pulling in parallel. This seems to correspond to the braces of the three lowest yards (probably main, lower and upper topsails) but I should probably need to check, since the picture is a bit old...

on ne les ménage pas ces mousaillons en herbe.

Hello Emmanuel,
you are really depicting every detail of the life on board.
The composition is good, I like the ropes close up and the sense of depth that the deck gives. It's a pity, though, that the sails are a bit overexposed. I guess it can't be helped.
