Photographer’s Note

La mosquée Hala Sultan Tekké, l’un des lieux de culte les plus vénérés de l’islam, a été restaurée sous l’égide des Nations unies, encourageant les espoirs de réunification dans l’île divisée depuis 1974.

Située près de l’aéroport de Larnaca (sud), la mosquée est révérée par les musulmans du monde entier car la tante du prophète Mahomet, Oum Haram, y serait enterrée.

Hi Hassan, a nice POV of this mosque tower and orange background color shot against the light. I prefer thought that the lower portion be cropped so as to show only the palm tree and the tower. Great shot still with those details of the palm tree and the minarette! Thanks for sharing...Alex
