Photographer’s Note

I have recently been working in Cyprus and have tried to get out and about a bit with my camera. This shot was taken from the Castle at Bufavento looking back towards Nicosia. It was a beautiful moment and well worth the hot walk to the summit, and dark walk back to the car.
The camera is a compact - Leica Dlux3 and I have been very impressed with both metering and sharpness for landscape and architectural photography.
28mm equivalent, 200, at f 4.9 with +1/3 metering.

Thank you for this shot! I love the silhouet of the tree in front, as you follow the crest of the mountains into the distance. The direct sunlight also gives a nice element.
