Photographer’s Note
Third in a series of 4 storm photographs. This one is darker and moodier than the last and as such evokes different feelings within the picture its self.
Again, camera is tripod mounted in the rear of my 4x4. Manual setting, f4 with bulb exposure. EF 17-40mm at 17mm manual focus at infinity. Remote shutter release was used for this 9 second exposure.

Nice shot, warm colors tends to minimize the brute force of the lightning.
I think removing the top-half would not remove anything to the photo.

very nice shot, good use of the long exposure, i also think that you could lose the top half of the picture and still have a very impressive storm shot! thanks for sharing!
