This is the well-known Ledra or Lokmaci barricade between North and South Cyprus which used to divide the city of Lefkosa (Nicosia)into Greek and Turkish sectors. This is a picture, from the Turkish side, of the 'no man's land' between the two sectors taken in 2006. Happily, this barricade was torn down in 2008 making it possible for people from both sides to visit the other side.

Lefkoşayı Türk ve Rum bölgesine ayıran birkaç barikattan birisi olan Lokmacı (Ledra) barikatının, 2008de yıkılmasından önce çekilmiş bir resim. Şu anda burada her iki bölgeden diğerine serbestçe geçiş yapılmaktadır. Tabii bu geçiş hakkı, sadece Kıbrıs doğumlu olanlara tanınmakta, Türkiye'den oraya göçen insanlar bundan yararlanamamaktadır.
