Photographer’s Note
View from the high-perched on a mountain range of Troodos small monastery Chrysoroyiatissa. Monastery owned only by the 4 monks, it's cozy and ancient.
What draw my attention here are what a dry and barren land Cyprus actually are - for me, at least.
All these talks about global shortage of water sounds a lot like a mockery to Russian ears - at least to me, as St-Petersburg are surrounded by water, standing on water and 10-th part of the city's surface ARE water - rivers, channels and so on.
But on Cyprus there are no one real all-year river (only some riverlet), rains are quite rare and in hard summers they recieve water in ships from other countries.
Really quite strange.
