Photographer’s Note
Asprokremmos Dam, second biggest rainwater reservoir in Cyprus; dry island needs all water resources which it can use; thus the water reservoirs.
Built in 1978-1982.
Looks a lot unusual to me -as there are little too much rainwater in St-Petersburg, where I live. Together with all other kinds of waters - river, lakes, Baltic Sea.
We have another dam, 25 kilometers long, crossing Baltic Sea to prevent deluges.

So in one place people build dams to hold water and in another places they do it to have a barrier against the water. But the dams are there always!

Да, вот ведь планета какая одинаковая. Ведь не скажи, что это Кипрус, подумал бы, что Норвегия. Сочетание синего и коричневого всегда хорошо.Пафос, Лесбос. Названья все доведенные до бытовых смыслов
