This is my first photo on TE, and as I like birds very much, I post here a photo of this beautiful bird.

The Scarlet Ibis (Eudocimus ruber), bird which inhabits in South America mostly, national bird of Trinidad and Tobago, featured on this country coat of arms.

Photo made in Paphos Bird and Animal Park in Cyprus; I made this photo during my honeymoon vacation on Cyprus; while my husband, Uhu, mostly made photos of churches, I made a photos of more natural things!

Hello Anastasia,

beautiful close-up with an appealing contrast and wonderful colour of the bird. The focus is not exactly on the birds head, but that`s often hard to do with moving objects.

brilliant colours, nicely framed, greast contrast in colour from the bird and the surrounding ground.
yes i agree with the two other critiques that the head is slightly out of focus, but it's a good attempt.

Hi Anastasia,
voilà un oiseau flamboyant ! en plus il est joliment placé dans la diagonale du cadre, ce qui est esthétique.En revanche un détail : on a le sentiment que des cailloux en arrière plan ont une netteté plus renforcée que la tête de l'oiseau ... erreur d'autofocus ou accentuation trop forte sur l'arrière plan ?
Sinon bravo pour cette vue animalière.
