In the main mosque of Esfahan, central Iran, in late afternoon. Almost everybody left, no more tourists around, this is the best moment to enjoy this beautiful place.

the character in first plan involves us in the photograph to the element on the right line. my question: is absolutely necessary it to want to rectify the prospect due to the objective (wide angle, do I suppose)?

non era facile questa foto, Stefano, hai combattuto con luci ed ombre ma alla fine il risultato è davvero buono ed i dettagli si leggono fino alle alte luci. Lavoro rischioso ma riuscito.

Hi Stefano,
Beautiful shot here, considering the difficult lighting situation of bright light and shadow, and off course you main anchor point of the person in one black shape with no feature to speak off, wich make it difficult but it definitely adds a stronger cultural essence of the place. Great details on the mosque with the exception of the bright spot which is a tiny bit over exposed. I like the quiet atmosphere. No tourists, a very nice moment. tfs.

Beautiful shot of one of the most awe-inspiring mosques in the Islamic world, Stephano!

The POV is very attractive, emphasizing the breadth of the courtyard and the immensity of the building. The seated woman cloaked in black is an attractive touch that adds interest. I love the long shadows swathing the building, but the light against the wall at right appears a bit too harsh. Nevertheless, a very well managed composition instilling a sense of reverence and peace! Well done.

A pitty for the overexposure,but Ilike the composition with the black dressed woman at the stairs and the reflections in the bassin.
