Photographer's Note

Esfahan, the eastern bank of the Zayande Rud river. They say you can't enter the same river twice, and I'm returning to the same place and time from a photo posted a month ago- only to prove that what they say is right. At the end of that note I seemed to have come to some understanding of what the trip to Iran meant, a month has passed and I am at a loss again. Never before have I had such difficulties at defining my own attitude towards a place visited. One day I'm willing to share some of the images at TE, and the other I find there is nothing you can learn from these photos, nor from me. What is it about the country that leaves me puzzled? Was it your reaction too when you visited? Should we wonder at all or perhaps take some things for granted the way a child only can...take a bag, collect what you can on the way, show what you've gathered or found. If the bag is empty, come back and try again...
