[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
This photo was taken in wonderful Blue Imam's Mosque. Blue mosques and Persepolis were originally the main reasons for my visit to Iran. I was rewarded with so much more at the end, however those blue mosques will always stay in my mind.

Even I had to wear just a scarf and loose dress, I was very tempted to wear chador myself as every woman looks like a mysterious princess in traditional chador. I was lucky to capture beautiful scene with those two women in chador.

HellO Lucie
Interesting how these women are in the shadowws, I like the very rich and lovely colours of the buildings contrasting with their dress.
Well done
Regards
Daniel

Dag Lucie,
Great capture, espacially with the rich deep saturaed colours in the background on the mosaic. Your note is great about wearing the chador...
Great shot...hope to see more..!!!
Groetjes, Henk

I like the contrast of the darkness and mystery of the chador compared to the intricate colorful detail of the walls, Lucie. Nice framing with the women to one side. I can see where it would be a novelty for you to wear a chador, but I feel sorry for those women don't really have a choice about it. Regards, Ken.

Another "wow!" shot for you! You have some incredible photos from your trip, and the overall quality of your posts has been amazing. This one presents a great contrast between the two women, clad all in black, and the incredibly vivid colours of the building behind them. The result is truly beautiful and thought provoking at the same time. Superb!

Hi Lucie,
This is a very special image!Lovely contrast between the stark black clothes of the women and the vibrant colourful background. You handled the light very well as you managed to capture details throughout.Well composed and I like the shadows on the ground.Clear with lovely detail...nice one.

It's like the photography was looking for you Lucie, they all have impressed me, I am sure that you already know it: Simply impressive. In this shot the constraste is incredible, the colors of the tiles and the marble, against the black of the garments of the women. Composition, color, everything is perfect.
Excuses for my English.

Hi Lucie!
I like the mysteryous face of right woman. It is just enough light on face to see all and nothing. What is most impressive on this photo for me,is arhitecture.Patterns on wall are amazing.Light,sharpness,composition...+++.
Bravo!

Beautiful shot Lucie. Vivid colors and nice spot. I would have liked some more light on the people, neverthless, nice shot - Sunil

Hi Lucie, I can see the meaning here and all is very good except the women. I don't know what (maybee sth with the sharpness?), but there is sth not 100pct. Anyway, still a very good shot!

Stark contrast and fascinating color in the background. I am struck by your narrative that you wanted to go behind the chaddor. Fascinating! I always wondered whether this gives a power to the women by being annonymous and able to observe all without being recognized.
[I wish you did and hid your camera and took photos that are otherwise hard to take :-)]

Hi Lucie
Nice capture of these two women. I like the strong contrast between the dark chador and the warm marble and tiles in the background. Good colours and strong impact. Very well framed.

bonjour Lucie,
it's really a mystery shot, great position of the model, and I like the beautifull graphism detail on the wall, great colors tones, great scene you've capture here, I like you're work,
bravo Martin

Hi Lucie,

Just a perfect title for this image :O) Those two woman dressed in black really look mysterious. Beautiful colours of the mosaic as background.

Did you travel alone through Iran.....without problems? Sounds really interesting.

:) Tina

Stunning! Every element here is perfect - the crisp details of the tiles on the wall and wonderful golden colours with these women and the black of their chadors set strongly against the rest of the image! And you've caught the one at the perfect moment, discreetly looking out from the folds of the fabric with a delicate hand and just enough sun to light up her face - wonderful!!

Hi Lucie,
The walls are so impressive, and so is the contrast between the colorful mosque and the women dressed in black.
Raluca

Just beautiful.

Absolutely wonderful picture. The background is great, no doubt these ladies look myterious against the background.
Great work.

It is always amazing to catch such pictures. You mix architecture with human being, and this photo describes Middle East as I suppose it is.
