The Maranjab desert or so called Kavir-e-Maranjab is located about 300km south of Tehran near Kashan in the Esfahan province.A visit to the desert is only imaginable in the winter due to harsh ho climate and deadly snakes and scorpions .The desert is well known for being a part of the famous Silk road in the past
and the ruins of some Carvanserays still remain in the desert.

Hello, Mohammad--
Nice work on this one, the low POV against the high dunes is great, and the trails of others providing scale. The figures are well place, and the shadows add to the barren feel of the landsdcape.

I like angle of view and way leading somewhere behind.

There aren't many desert pics these days here on TE and yours is a classic. Beautiful pattern of the dunes with the low POV helping in highlighting the trekkers. Superb Work.

Nice POV & DOF. I like the peaceful mood of these layered sand dunes. I like the way you "put" the 2 trekers at the perfect location. The 3 tracks at remote dunes are +++.
