Nice portrait of an old man, Lucie, I like how his face colour matches the colour of the wall, and of course you have captured a lovely scene, he looks so concentrated...

Hallo Lucie,
Schitterend gecomponeerde foto. De kleurstetting is absolute top, vooral die muur knalt hier uit mijn scherm. Contrast, verzadiging en scherpte is perfect, net als de details in de man zijn trui.
Absoluut vakawerk, alles klopt gewoon in deze foto.

First of all, this has brilliant colours in that wall, and coupled with the unusual pattern there you have something that immediately grabs the viewer's attention. The contrast with the blue/green clothing on the man makes the colour in this even better. Nice human element also, which always creates a lot of interest. Great work!

Well I've never been to Iran, but I guess it's not much different to Turkey when it comes to their love of tea. Love the moment you've caught here, as well as that background which has some brilliant oranges.

Hi Lucie! I've been a little busy with the Christmas preparations but I have some time to comment right now and didn't want to leave this one without some words of my own. Lovely take on this wonderful moment. It's a bit strange to see this ritual being performed in a so empty place so I thank you for this little piece of culture. Photographicly speaking it's a nice take. The compo is very good and the light you captured really enhances the 3D of the man. Love the orange and cold brackground but the red on his face is a bit just above what I find acceptable. ;) I would like to see it a bit less saturated, but that's just the mood I am nowadays (keeping all very simple). Wishing you a Merry Christmas to you and your family. Take care.

Wonderful shot, Lucie, very well composed. As you mentioned, the strong colors from the wall make a very nice contrast with the man. This image evoques tranquility and wisdom from the old man. This is such a peaceful picture. Great job.

And this is one of the pictures i like most, textures on the wall are just incredible. Maybe putting the guy a little touch more upwards would have been worth trying. Regards,
