This Mosque on Al Asad Air Base represented a striking contrast to the typical architecture on the base. Most buildings are rather drab block-shaped structures that were constructed for security and utilitarian purposes. The Mosque is a reminder to observers that there is more to life here than meets the eye.

Marvelous making this beautiful mosque with some wonderful natural colors. I had cut some sky, but anyway is a good take with excellent resolution.
