Picture taken at a statues garden, which I intend to show only a selected interesting pic.s from.
Most times I refrain to take statues photos - but this was an eyes-catcher's.
A Cell-Phone photo taken late afternoon with bright light upon the vulture iron wings.

Hi Ike,

The tight frame is putting the sculpture in evidence. The pint of view is showing the details of the iron Vulture. The light is bringing the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Ike,
This looks nicer than the real vultures I have seen, "friendlier" if I may say so. But every artist has his/her freedom to interpret life and nature. The strong light benefits the photo very well. The details of the statue are very sharp and clear.

Hi Ike,
It is quite an extraordinary statue I must admit.
The upload made me actually think that may be I should buy a decent phone. I still don't own a smartphone but having one seems like a nice option if you don't have your camera with you and you spot something worth recording like in this case here.

Do vultures live in Israel?
Probably yes because they live in some other countries around the Mediterranean (eg Spain).
This one opens its wings as if it wants to defend a found prey.
Good picture taken with you cell phone.
Pictures taken with my smart phone do not have the real colours.

Hello Ike, What is wrong with the photos of the statues? In fact, when you take a photo of the painting, graffiti or mural, without people interaction, there is no creativity. It is the work od someone else. But it is not the case with a sculpture, you can show it from different angles. nice vie wof this iron bird.

At first sight, I didn't think it was a vulture, but some kind of cormorant. Very elegant and impressive. Its dark colour stands out really well against the bright background.

Hello Ike Now I better understand why no pigeons are prowling around the statue; they should install many of these in Place Saint-Marc, Venice!! Your cell phone gave back very sharp details and the density range appears quite faithful to a view 'on situ' Shalom

Hello Ike,

Yes, this is certainly worth a photograph.
The bird has been designed to attract attention with its outstretched wings.
It does seem to be creating a pose like that of a cormorant but its talons and beak don't match those of cormorant they are much more related to a bird that tears flesh!
The close crop works well, the subject filling the screen with interest.
