Photographer’s Note
I thought that I will share with you one more picture from Kuwait today. It was taken at the same time as Kuwait Towers that I have posted previously.
This photo was taken just after sunset, I have used tripod and ND filter to balance the light. Those colors are absolutely natural and typical for this time of a day.

Blue! My favorite color. It really looks like that Kuwait has much to offer in terms of photographic opportunities. You really have to show us more of "your" country. Love the simplicity of your shot. The composition is simple but very nice. That long pier is really nice and was really well placed in your frame. Perfect exposure too. I like it.

Lucie, this looks excellent. quite a photograph that travel agencies use to lure tourists to picturesque resorts.
Greetings from Trieste.

Hi Lucie,
If not carefully planned, this would have been very ordinary frame. But the fact that it's a night shot and
done in right time with the right light conditions and
(most importantly) technically right, this one reveals a
well planned shot where the result is extraordinary and
most pleasing to one's eye.
What makes it work is not only a good compo and post-processing
but the elements at the beginning and end of the pier,
together with stunning reflection in water frozen by
keeping the shutter opened for 8 seconds.
Lovely,
Robi

This is an unusual shot for you, a night time shot with artificial light. I like the colour in this, a deep, incredible blue that seems to go on forever. The lights of the building and their reflection provides a great contrast and is well positioned too. Very nice work!

Hi Lucie,
you went out there to shoot the towers, right ? Using the ND grey filter was a very good choice, I think, otherwise the reflections of the strong light would be burned out. Good perspective too.
Good job !

Hello Lucie,
What a beautiful blue hour photo! It resembles a painting with its soft, romantic quality. The DOF is great, and the pier seems to float in a continuous canvas of blue as the sky and water melt together. The reflections of the lights add a nice dash of color, but the blue is really the star. :-)

Hi Lucie: This is another excellent photo you have posted and I personally think so far it is very under-rated. The colors, the composition, exposure...all perfect. Maybe you need an old boat washed up on shore to score more points and to make the photo appealing to the masses :)
Have a great weekend.
Greetings from Florida...............Greg
