Al-Doha port Photo

Photographer’s Note

Every country has its "must be photographed" locations and Kuwait is no exception. Al-Doha port is one of the most photographed and photogenic location in Kuwait. It is a place with many abandoned ships that create very nice point of interest against setting sky.

Tha abandon ship is a perfect spot for your picture. But what I liked the most is the purple skye and the cabalistic feeling you pass it on with this image.

Beautiful colors .. very nice composition .. the gentle palette adds very soft mood to the harsh wreck and distant industry .. love the angle of light .. wish the brightness was just a breath less on the right .. very nice image.

The lightning in this shot is stunning, marvelous colors. The placement of the boat is excellent and the details great. A nice shot indeed.

Beautiful shot Lucie! The colour is what really gets me in this, very unusual violet tone and a wonderful gradation from dark to light. Great composition too, with the wrecked ship on one side and the smoke stacks on the other side. Stunning shot!

Great composition and colour management, Lucie.
Light contrast makes this one very atmospheric. Also,
here I appreciate many details that can be seen in
shadowed areas.
What in Flickr (as opposed to TE) that everyone migrates there?
