Photographer’s Note

this is a place in the north of Oman that I visited on route to the U.A.E, and I found the location and atmosphere very peaceful and light. Though you wonder what history was made in the fort on the mountain, and how many people traveled back and forth by boat from the main land to the fort.

Hi Latifah,

It's nice to see your pics. I think you've got great skills in composing shots. You've posted a couple of small pictures, and just from experience on this site, people rarely comment on small photos even if they are really good... Just so you know ;)

Are you doing any post-processing (Photoshop etc.)? It makes a world of difference. Adjusting this shot a bit would make it stand out 10x more and people would be able to appreciate it for what it is: a nicely composed, interesting and informative shot.
