Photographer’s Note
Sinkhole made by nature on the way from Quriyat to Tiwi. Stairs go down to the "beach" where you can swim and dive. Deep down in the water there is depth about 60m and 500m of horizontal channel to the seaside. Water is mixed spring and sea. Very beautiful and interesting place where we had stopped on the way to Wadi Shab to swim and dive.

Hi Virginia.
A beautiful shot for an interesting geological phenomenon. I like the composition even if I wish you did not crop so tight the upper part at least not to cut the left palmtree... But it's just a very small detail!

An interesting shot of an interesting feature.
It reminds me of similar formations in southern Mexico. There they're called cenotes. I never heard of these existing anywhere else.
