Le soleil se levait...
Le pêcheur travaillait...
Je me réveillais, sur la plage, dans un autre monde...

Comme vous le voyez, j'ai toujours mes problèmes de "pixels" (cf. "Flotter à Mascat") et j'ai donc du retravailler la version originale pour essayer de cacher les pixels géants. Cette version originale est dans le WS. Si quelqu'un peut me dire quel serait mon problème, je suis preneur...

Tu nous dis à combien d'iso cette photo est
faite et là je ne comprends
pas comment à 200 iso on peut obtenir
tant de poussière. As-tu demandé l'avis
d'un représentant Canon ?
Il reste une très belle image où le
grain donne un bel effet même s'il n'est pas voulu.

Cela me l'a déjà fait avec mon ancien 300D; au début je croyais que cela venait de mon PC.
Si le problème ne persiste pas avec tes optiques sur un autre Canon, cela signifie que ton appareil mérite un séjour au SAV ou qu'il est temps de changer.

Well Stephan, I can help you about the problem, but as I know how good photographer you are, I can figure out how the photo it is, in fact, it´s quite poetic like this, full of energy and joyfull loneliness. Take care.

I don't know enough to be able to help you, but I think it is something called posturisation. I read some advice on here some months ago but have no idea how to locate it again. If you google "posturisation" you might find a tutorial. The solution is something odd like adding more noise before blurring it.
You composed the image well and the colours are lovely so it's a pity about the problem. Let me know if you find the solution. It would be good to file it away.

I'm afraid I can't really help you with the problem, but what I can say here is that the noise doesn't bother me at all in this photo, on the contrary, it enhances the mood. Beautiful sunrise with also such great, warm colours. Good position for the boat and the sun together in the composition. Thanks for sharing!

Du classique avec une position idélae du soleil et du bateau mais ca fonctionne impeccable.
Effectivement pas mal bruitée si ca n'est qu'à 200 iso ?

Sympa ces couleurs, j'aime beaucoup ta compo qui place idéalement le soleil et le bateau.
Pour le bruit, la VO est très parlante, c'est bizarre. Une théorie (assez personnelle et empirique :o)) est que les capteurs de nos appareils numériques produisent de plus en plus de bruit en vieillissant. Je l'ai constaté sur mon reflex, ainsi que sur celui d'une personne de mon entourage.

effectivement ton problème persiste et je rejoins didi et je te confirme ce que je te disais que ton appareil a besoin d'un serieux nettoyage et ton capteur m'a bien l'air fatigué, beau cadrage avec les deux élément bien positionnés

Salut Stephan - this is a beautiful and evocative sea scape with nice open ended narrative side to it. The artefacts indeed add to the atmosphere and it's difficult to tell what it is - the word solarization (Kath mentions this) also entered my mind. The only thing I know from my own experience is that the sensor on my 30D doesn't like heat - when temperture rises above 30 degrees in humid areas there'll be xtra noise.

Posterization apart, it is a beautiful minimalist image, with the silhouette of the boat moving on that 'lava sea' under the sun. The texture on the water and those stripes made by the light make the image more interesting.
I had no idea of the cause of those bands on the sky until I read the article that Kath pointed to you.

Ta photo est idéalement composée : le mouvement est palpable.
Le léger grain de me gène pas , au contraire : il aide la mer a se confondre avec le ciel en un espace incertain et c'est assez séduisant.
Jolies couleurs aussi : c'est chaleureux, confortable...On sent la chaleur, la légère brise chaude du matin...C'est sympa.

I have to tell you that the problem you have doesn't ruin the fantastic mood at all. Actually, I even like the textures. Simple and very effective balance bettween the fisherman and the amazing sun.

Donc apparemment j'avais pas forcément faux quand je te demandais si tu n'avais pas changer par erreur la résolution de tes prises de vue. Ca c'est donc passé à la sauvegarde!! Tu devrais, je pense, passer en mode raw, notamment toi qui aime le PP un peu poussé, tu t'y retrouverais largement, mais c'est vrai que ça demande d'investir dans des cartes ;o))
Très sympa ce moment, une bonne idée de réalisation pour cadrer idéalment ces élément mobile avec l'autre immobile;

Un joli moment capté et un cadrage aux petits oignons. Les lumières sont bien gérées je trouve et c'est vrai qu'il est dommage que ce défaut technique vienne perturber l'image. Malheureusement je ne pourrai pas t'être d'un grand secours n'ayant pas encore goûter aux joies du réflex...

les couleurs cuivrées que j'aime avec cette boule d'or en fusion suspendue dans le ciel.
Le moment bien choisi avec ce bateau qui passe et bien cadrée avec du champ devant lui.

Hi Stephane. Nice capture. Well composed and timed to catch the best placement of subjects. As for the “pexels” problem, I can only suggest increasing the colour depth before PP to try and minimize the banding and smooth out the sky, not sure if this will work or not but may be worth a try. Thanks for sharing.

A fine post with the boat off centre 'flowing' into the frame. The ball of the sun, balances the silhouetted boat! Those colour bands in the sky is a bit of a pity, maybe you should avoid PP work on the sky to avoid it.

the sun is so outstandingly shot it it full glowing like an egg yolk.
