Photographer’s Note
The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat, Capital of Oman. Islamic architecture at its most elegant. Marble from Italy, India and Pakistan among others. The largest carpet in the world. The largest crystal chandelier in the world. One of the highlights of Muscat. Built to commemorate the 30th year of the reign of Sultan Qaboos.
Oman is one of only two sultanate's in the world. It really is an amazing country stuck in between the older Bedu ways and the new, oil money fueled, technological future.

Hi John,
Excellent perspective. The effect is very nice. eople o the bg adds interest to the shot. The light adn contrasts are well rendered as well as the architectural details. Just think it could benefit form a little adjustment on the lens distortion and levels, the lines don't look very staight.
Regards,
Flavia

Wow... its co clear and simple. Very nice shot, and well balanced exposure that shows not only the details in the front, but also the details far away.

Hello John,
Another of you celebrations of "almost" perfect symmetry. As a matter of fact, the props (humans) you have in the frame that break the symmetry are useful as calibration rods, for establishing scale. Very well done! The light and shadows, composition and perspective, and the color and definition are all first rate. The note, of course, is useful for those of us who have not been to this exotic land (although I have been in Dubai).
Have a good weekend,
Bulent
