Photographer’s Note
The old fort in Khasab, turned now in to a museum. The town of Khasab is in Musandam, Omani enclave, occupying a rocky territory at the end of Hajar Mountain Range, guarding the Strait of Hormuz. One of the most beautiful places on the Indian Ocean cost of Arabian Peninsula. I found incredibly friendly people! A Local woman with her little son stopped and asked me to take picture of them! Unbelievable for this part of the world! A group of local men were performing traditional dance on the beach. I came when they just finished dancing. Seeing my disappointment they picked up the instruments and danced again so I could record the entire piece from the beginning! How can I thank them? Incredible people!
