A shot in Dibba, Oman during the first light of the morning.

Canon EOS 20D, Sigma 10-20mm, ISO 100, Combination of 2 shots using layer mask in photoshop to imitate NGD. one exposed to the foreground and one exposed to the sky. Tripod. RAW.

excellent shot, love the textures of the rocks and gradient colours. also, I like how the shoreline nicely leads the eye into the shot. very well seen and presented.

nice place and well composed photo with good details, colours, light and mood. only slight negative is the visibility of post processing. working on layers and masks is not so easy and we can see dark edges along the rocks.

Hi Edwin,

Lots of detail in the foreground, pleasant soft light in the distance and overall a high quality shot! I have to say that I was looking for that little bit of excitement, something that just draws the eyes to it. It's a good shot, very well composed, but I'm just missing a bit of excitement in it. ;-)
