Musandam is a remote province from Oman since you have to cross the UEA to reach that piece of land right at the Ormuz straight facing Iran.

Musandam offers amazing landscapes made of Fjords, steep mountains reaching more than 2000m. Waters are clear and it's a nice place for a diving, cruising the Fjords with a Dhow or meeting dolphins.

The first day of our arrival to Musandam, we discovered Khasab, a nice, clean, asleep city, we rented a small car and drove the unique road two times back and forth. The area is very small but worth the visit since you can discover few palm trees valleys, few castles and small villages all nested along the coast since the mountains is everywhere.

Here, you can see the Bukha castle, erected in the XVIIth century by Saif Bin Sultan. This is a quite place at one side of a large really beautiful beach. Empty during the day, that beach starts to be filled with football players at the end of the afternoon like everywhere in Oman.

In the background, you can guess the beginning of a steep mountain which surrounds the whole city.
